Conclusion

The gaming industry is continuing to grow at exponential rates largely due to all the new technology being introduced each year. Within our exhibit we discussed some of the earlier models of gaming consoles released within the 1980s through the early 2000s, though there are hundreds of new consoles that have been created in recent years that have highly improved in terms of technology. The uses of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) have become more common within the gaming industry allowing for players to be further immersed within their gaming spheres. These technologies have improved the entire gaming experience greatly as well as strengthened the industry as a whole. The introduction of live gaming has also transformed the industry to become stronger by allowing for players to build communities and friendships with their online teammates. The graphics of actual games have improved immensely allowing for the rise in hyperreality gaming which provides players with a life-like gaming experience. This makes users feel more connected to their games and more likely to continue using consoles regularly.

The gaming industry has become a multibillion dollar market emphasizing how there must always be technological improvements made in order to keep demands high. The experience of gaming has grown to become much more immersive and realistic all because of these technologies and their capabilities. What will these companies create next? Come back to this exhibit to find out.
