Direct Connections

From being able to carry and listen to music anywhere, people connected with others every day. Whether it was through the device itself or music taste, there was a sense of community. Bringing your music device everywhere you went to create connections was fascinating and caught the world by storm, but what if you could connect with anyone from anywhere? The introduction of small, handheld phones did just this. The convenience of a small handheld MP3 was transferred to a mobile phone to not just connect with others, but to communicate directly from your couch, the grocery store, even the park, anywhere you wanted. Mobile phones were the next device to be widely adopted, and it is not hard to understand why.
