Watching

The Trinitron was ultimately a groundbreaking technological advancement as the highest quality color television on the market. However, after Americans went through the "honeymoon phase" with televisions they began to realize how impractically large they were. Instead of wanting the television to be the epicenter of the living room, consumers became more focused on portability. This led to a demand for a new, smaller, version of the television without sacrificing quality. The enhanced combination of radio and television allowed for consumers to watch global events from not only their living rooms but anywhere with electricity. The Panasonic Bisider was much smaller and allowed for more mobility and marketed well to consumers.
